I didn't do it deliberately - she just refused to pay for it on the grounds that it was Valentine's day.

Given that she is my ex, I suggested that it was inappropriate for me to be buying her such gifts but she told me that she'd make an exception this time ...

Arch and I, though, have been having many, many great days when we are together (and when we are apart). So much nicer when love is all year round instead of 1/365th of the year.

NT prefers yellow roses, but there weren't any in flower, so I sent him a text with a photo of a yellow forsythia flower instead.

hopefully he is coming home. he was away for 'pancake day' so it is pancake day tonight instead. that's as far as it goes really in this household... if I am lucky he may have a box of chocolates for me as a treat (given we was away 3 days this week and is away 3 days next week as well) but that is only if he was able to get hold of the Booja-Booja chocolates that I can actually eat being allergic to all dairy
(pancakes get made with soya milk & hemp flour - really tasty!)
