I despise snow, I will be avoiding going out in the white shoot full stop if we are unlucky enough to have any of the vile white crap this winterNo greater way to develop your control skills by snow riding.

Same mileage as summer generally. Longest rides cut back to 140 miles but I will still generalky rack up 300 miles a week or so through the winter.
Sitting on the bike and pedalling, just like summer but with more clothes and luggage that doesn't take on water so readily. And spiked tyres when it's icy. Or waiting until it thaws later in the day. And not being afraid to abandon leisure rides if it's no fun, but that's rarer than one might think. What are people planning on doing cycling-wise over the winter?
Probably - there's all sorts of strange people cycling tooAnyone planning any chilly sportives or audaxes?
Could you motivate enough of them into still doing other rides in winter? My club rides will tail off in the winter, as they only do Sunday rides in the winter and I can't make Sundays.
I rode through deep gravel with a heavyish bag on the front rack of a bike with 47mm tyres yesterday and it was a surprisingly similar feeling to trying to ride through snowNo greater way to develop your control skills by snow riding.
Awwww, riding through fresh deep powder is lovely... but I suspect Sutton has the same problem as my bit of the A10 and motorists muck it up almost as fast as it hits the groundI despise snow, I will be avoiding going out in the white shoot full stop if we are unlucky enough to have any of the vile white crap this winter
I don't do ice unless it's icy either. My freezer doesn't make ice cubes fast enough to cover a decent area to ride on.Unless it's icy, I don't do ice, or snow.
About the same,I will still be commuting but anything else will depend on how the rehabilitation goesAs much as possible.
Frozen shoulder permitting.
I need to get back to mtb and commuter use asap
