I've got a couple of days off later this week and I need to spend an hour or three getting the alu road bike (with mudguards) and the hybrid back ready for use.
Neither have been used in an age - April for the road bike and (shamefully) the day before Xmas Eve last year for the hybrid, so there will be a bit of fettling required then I'm good to go.
And once I've cleaned and fettled it, I can find a warm corner to tuck the carbon bike away until next spring

I don't mind the cold - it's just a matter of getting the layers right and I reckon that there is another winter to be had from the Roubaix bib tights I got from Lidl and buying my first pair of overshoes proved to be a revelation - who knew you could have warm feet on a winter ride?
I'm in the half century challenge so need to get that finished and as a New Years Day half century has become a bit of a tradition I guess I'll be doing the challenge again next year.

I might have to moderate my routes a bit - a few of my favourite lanes get clogged with mud through the winter and don't see enough motorised traffic to shift it, but there are still plenty of other ways to get about.
