My brother told me i overreacted.... i disagree.
The front kid didn't look. I slowed down no big deal and then he saw me and stopped. As i went past he did a pushing motion near me looking at his friend as in i will push him off(not viewable in the camera). I ignore and cycle on then he shouts prick.... Camera does not pick it up well but you can kinda tell if you listen hard. I turn and they leg it. I shout at them to show my displeasure. I thought my reaction and reply was valid and shown.


What are your views?

I would've probably shouted something un-ladylike, but carried on pedalling and hoped I was too fast for them. lol

Ignore them they will probably die young due to poor diet and lack of intelligence. I take satisfaction in that and carry on with my day.

Hard to tell from the video, but they look quite young to me.. Kids just trying (successfully) to get a reaction. Should've just kept on pedaling.

I have seen this type of thing quite a lot, not always in a cycling scenario. Usually it ends up with a guy trying to catch one of these little angels, but of course he never does. They keep retreating and continue to verbally abuse, and you just end up getting more and more irate.
As much as I would like to give em a clip round the lug, it's best to just keep on riding.

..or they got what they wanted, a reaction no fun if they get ignored.

I ignored a group of then Friday evening in the lovely Brinnington. Deliberately standing in the road, and I just pedalled on. One shouted something about me ramming them, but I wasn't even close.
