What bar tape do you like?

Bog standard black or white cork. Just thick enough for comfort, easy to wrap and cheap as chips. Brooks Leather on one bike, it's crap and full of joins. It also cost a small fortune. Shellac on cloth is nice on the right bike but its a pain in the bum to do it.

All of this fancy stuff is a one hit wonder.

Ah but fab and it matches my bike scheme. I paid £24 I think, not much in the general scheme of a £1300 bike given the bars are a key contact point. I'm sure you'd spend much more on saddle or pedals

Indeed looking at your list, you did. Only a tenner more than the roubaix tape

Next time then. I'd cancel the Spesh tape but Cyclestore are fast with the dispatch!

I like Bontrager tape, comfy and pretty hardy, stays grippy regardless of weather
