What bike to buy, need advice

The OP already has a roadbike...he is struggling in the mountains of Norfolk however and thus could just change the cassette and add better wheels and tyres for the £200...but I expect he wants something newer (so not second hand)/lighter/shinier (although I am not sure the actual OP had a wife to consider, just an unwillingness to splash the cash)

I bought the tdf 3 years ago 2nd hand and its covered many thousands of miles. Hills arnt any problem. Just fancied a brand new bike and something a bit more of an upgrade from the tdf

Felt F75 is better from Merlin.

With Felt, the lower the numbers, the higher the spec, so 75 better than 85..

I would go for the more expensive & have 10 speed for £100 more, it would cost considerably more than that to upgrade to the F75 spec later on.

Some nice bikes in the classified. But in the end i have actually gone for the Felt f85 as just had a nice bill come through which needs paying and with Christmas round the corner! It was going to kill the ol wallet. Soo I ended up ordering that bike! I can't wait until i get and give it a ride!

Been singing it for the past 24 hours

Stopped on my ride today to receive a text from Wiggle to say it will be with me tomorrow. Wasn't expecting it to be that quick haha. Its like christmas
