There's a fascinating portraiture of different types of athletes in the Mail today.

Sadly no Cyclists, but they do have a 'Triathlete', and an 'Adventure Racer'.

At a push, I'd say I look most like the 800m runner.

There's some lovely ladies too (hello Miss PoleVault and Miss Triple Jump )

The last photo, bottom right, take a look at the Rhythmic Gymnast's toes. Eew!! If I did that I would have 10 broken toes.

I was in a lot of teams at school but can't say I resemble any of those lovely ladies.
I did shot putt, badminton and hockey.
Though I fear if I continue with the cycling I may end up having the thighs of a Russian shot putter!
