He's not a real sumo wrestler - he's a US amateur, not a wrestler in actual Japanese sumo. Sumo wrestlers actually vary in size and shape quite considerably: here's a picture of one of the greatest ever champions, Chiyonofuji.

I once asked my wife if I looked like a mini version of Chiyonofuji and she just laughed! Seriously though, my body type is somewhere between the triathlete and the barrel-chested Chiyonofuji type, but of course with much less muscle mass/tone and a closer to normal amount of body fat - because, let's face it, none of us actually have the bodies of those athletes - and I'm much shorter than either! I've never had any complaints, mind...
