Established middle class
This is the most gregarious and the second wealthiest of all the class groups. According to the Great British Class Survey results, lots of people in this group:
 • Enjoy a diverse range of cultural activities
 • Went to university
 • Are comfortably off, secure and established

What the hell? I was born middle class and worked my way downwards!

Precariat apparently. I like opera, ballet and I go to the theatre when I can. I do, however, rent my home and I don't have a staggering income.
Something about mixing socially with people like myself? Well there are not that many groomers around for me to mix with, or ex archaeologists for that matter. I do hang out with a couple of solicitors, a barrister, an accountant, several teachers, a head chef and the MD of a company that employes electricians.

I think that the survey is a load of old tosh. Very skewed towards how much you earn and whether or not you own your own home. When I changed my home ownership toggle I immediately became one of the established middle classes. I think that my parents would disagree with that one. They were disappointed that they had only daughters and the title went to a cousin. I reckon that they are both still spinning in their graves over that!

Established Middle Class apparently. I didn't go to uni. It was the local secondry modern, I left at 16 with 6 CSE's and 2 O levels. This survey is too skewed towards how much you earn. It's all to vague.

I think it is a load of old nonsense but I have no problem with being described as Traditional Working Class!
I was told by my headmaster at school that I wasn't one of the elite, and his prediction has been confirmed by this Scientific Survey.
I was told by my junior school headmistress that it was a waste of time for me to apply to go to either of the local boys grammar schools. I took offence and showed what I thought of that attitude by scoring 100% in their 'mock' 11-plus. They then accused me of cheating and I took offence at that too so I romped through the actual 11-plus and was awarded a direct grant place (the state paid my fees) at my first choice school - ha ha Miss D, how did you like them apples!
