Spose you're right in a way. Middle class used to mean (to me anyway) professional, perhaps management, home owning, socially adept etc etc.
I'd consider myself middle class ONLY in a financial sense.
Ive no problem with it BTW, I don't give a damn about so called class...I know a lot of people in a 'superior' position in life compared to me..who simply live on credit, or in debt if you prefer. I prefer my way. I'm a worker, never desire management potential, just want to my own thing, quietly and sensibly...no fuss, no pretence.
