Here for rides.
My usual touring pals are all too busy to ride this spring.

Anyone been on a saddle skedadle holiday?

or a c2cpackhorse one?

(Yes I know I could organise it all myself but I've done all the prep on our mini-tours of last five years and just fancy turning up, handing over a bag, and riding)

Did Cuba with Explore.
I know your feeling. I didn't do anything. I didn't even check where we are cycling, no maps etc. Just followed the route that they asked you to follow.

It's a bit more complicated than that...
We've used Inntravel for walking - very well organised, and they steer away from the bargain basement end of the market. I gather they do cycling too. It's all self-guided stuff.

The downside of most of these firms is that they hire you the bike.

I used Saddle Skeddadle to go to Baja California. MTB then three days sea kayaking to an island. Simply stunning and well organised. Only 4 people on the trip: me, a youngish fit couple and a bloke about 2 years younger (and decades fitter) who is now one of my closest friends and who I have been touring with half a dozen times. The holiday was notable for me getting home, looking at the pics and thinking that losiing 15-20kg might not be a bad idea! And I did and I kept it off
