Post what you've been up to today...
I've tried and failed to get an assignment on W M Davis completed, off to the pub soon to forget about it till tomorrow.

I made and painted a couple of mild steel adaptor brackets, so that I can fit a pair of low rider front painnier frames to the forks on my bicycle.

Finished off sewing & hanging some curtains. Traced a dressmaking pattern, pinned pattern pieces on fabric and after I've had a cuppa, I'm going to cut them out and start the sewing of those items.

And I require knee pads. kneeling on the floor, folding fabric, laying out and pinning pattern bits is hard work on my ageing knees!

Housework, washing, ironing, then the gym for two hours, then took my wee TVR out for an hour in the pouring rain and wind but it was good

Tonight I am off to my pals house for a girly night

Faffed around, jogged to the local garage in the drizzle to pick up my car which they had failed to fix (due to Renault's overcomplicatedness rather than any failing of theirs), shopped for food (forgetting the tea bags, so I will have to go out again tomorrow), faffed a bit more, then agreed to do a rush job to be finished in 3 weeks (or less!).

I predict working for another few hours, then imbibing fermented grape juice in front of some dross on the telly...

Worked all night, had an hours sleep, went out for a ride to challenge myself to climb a certain hill 3 times, that once took me about 20 mins to climb once with 3 stops with heart rates exceeding 190, and ended up doing it 4 times, and each time around 7 mins with heart rates max of about 170. I could have done more but time was against me as I had to get home to do a job.

Got a right good soaking on the bike riding along the seafront into the tempest...then I've been building a drum track from loops in my studio and sending files over to some musomates in the states so they can work on my toon for me.

Made a Christmas Cake which is supposed to be rested for 6 weeks with regular top-ups of brandy. Can't see it lasting the week out:tongue:

In the morning I spliced an eye in a multi-strand polypropylene mooring rope. It was much more pleasant task done at home rather than on a rainy windswept pier. In the afternoon I was bouncing about on the waves peering through heavy spray and rain.

A baker after my own heart!

Got up with miniature PV at 5:30am
Drove Mrs PV to work at 6:45am
Packed several boxes in readiness for an up-coming move.
Filled many screw and hook holes in apartment walls.
Changed daughter's nappy 3 times.
Went grocery shopping.
Prepared dinner ready for Mrs PV's arrival home from work.
Played with my stamp collection when the mail man came with several new goodies.
Phoned one of my sons in the UK.
And it's still only 2:10pm!!

Took Mr Campfire's filthy oily overalls & work clothes to launderette (too bad for washing machine at home), visited Mum who lives near there, had lunch there & Beetled home (literally in my 1303S). Lady in launderette insisted I had some of her washing powder as I'd forgotten to bring another packet with me. There are a lot of kind people about!!!

Hope it's good enough tomorrow to enjoy a cycle ride.

When the heating came on, the cat was lying on top of the convection radiator. He didn't last long there, too hot!
