I represented two people in two different harassment interviews. One was an alleged perpetrator and one was a victim. It was interesting to say the least.

Er, very little. A trend which is continuing even now I'm at work.
I was out gigging until late last night, so I didn't get out of bed until ten ish. Then coffee and breakfast in front of CC, then I washed up and went shopping (spending £1.45 on a loaf of bread and £8.15 (!) on six slices of ham). Then I made asandwiches and came to work. Since getting here at 3 ish, I've driven perhaps three miles, empty, and have spent three hours sitting in the canteen reading my book and playing on the laptop while waiting for a load. I'm being paid ten quid an hour for this.

I got all of my production out (exceeded targets actually:thumbsup:), briefed my team on what is required next week then came home. This afternoon I did the Sainsburys run, and now I've just polished off a huge ribeye steak.

As long as I breathe, I attack.
Felt crap at work all week due to sickness+diarrhea draining me last weekend so took a personal holiday out of my entitlement, friday is a slow day at work so you can take it off with no questions.

Got up early to watch stuff i had taped in week without a sprog interrupting.

Then washed and lubed the bikes.

Then made the bad choice of saying lets go shopping for the x mas stuff while i am off ,although went into decathlon and picked up a pannier bag that i have been promised for x mas ;)

I was going to do a weights circuit but still feel a bit drained so Mrs CK got the strimmer out and cut my hair.. i am danged if i will pay for a 3 mm buzz cut ... yes i wear a hard hat at work all day so a "hair style " is pointless and a lot cooler when commuting .

Spent the whole day away from my desk, all morning at a meeting on Safeguarding (see post re etiquette), answered a panic call from the boss and had to spend my lunchtime chasing up something he thought we'd forgotten, then found out that a colleague had done it all along, then spent all afternoon filling out a assessment form on how we deal with AntiSocial Behaviour. Rushed home, ate a pizza which has given me indigestion and drovn Mrs Cube to the station as she's off into Leeds on the piss with her school colleagues. Waiting up now as she may well be wanting me to drive over and pick her up.

Today I was on a fire fighting course. A little disappointing, no turntable ladders, no blue flashing lights, or jumping red lights with siren blaring.
Instead we set light to a gallon or two of diesel and put out the flames with assorted fire extinguishers. It was kind of amusing standing around the drum of blazing diesel like they do in tv news film of workers on strike, at least it was warm.

First off after the usual ablutions,
Drove over to Kippax to deliver some stuff for sewing.

Back at the workshop I :

Cut out some more cushions ready for sewing.
Stripped out an antique chair.
Re-stuffed and recovered the footstool that goes with the chair.
Re-stuffed the seat of the chair.
Cut out all the panels to recover the chair.
Cut out panels to recover two office chairs.
Recovered two office chairs.
Showed some fabrics to a customer who called.
Sewed four arm caps.
Un-loaded a couple of chairs from the van.
Had lunch.
Typed a couple of invoices.
Make some phone calls.
Collected a sofa.
Collected a brand new sofa which is to be cut up so it can fit into a customers house and be re-assembled inside.
Unloaded the van.
Re-loaded with an armchair and two office chairs.
Delivered said armchair and office chairs.
Bought fish and chips.
Ate said fish and chips.
Took the dog out.
Sat down.

oh and several cups of tea.

Pretty dull all in all but at least I wasn't sat on my arse doing nowt.

Yesterday I finished my promotion case and a paper for publication. But the day was interrupted by the world's arsiest student having a big spit-the-dummy-toys-out-of-the-pram tantrum (he's a man in his late 40s/early 50s). I feel like I'm having to act like a stern parent.

Today I'm either cleaning the house or going to the Good Food show at the NEC. I went to the pub last night after not drinking for quite a while and after a couple of pints have a horrible hangover!
