Just to buck the trend of moaning about twats in BMW's and Audi's or talking about that word no one should talk about when commuting.

I thought I would try to start a new positive topic as I have not been able to ride for the last 2 weeks and I rode for the first time this Morning my 18 mile journey in... and it was awesome!

So what did you see of interest this morning? I saw a Green Woodpecker on a fence post and a fleet of Ferrari's roaring down the M20 towards the channel tunnel.

The Silage/mannure that had been spread in fields either side of the road smelt a bit strange and stung my eyes, I was passing Port Lympne Zoo so I deduced the were not using Horse/Cow Sh&t but exotic animal poo!

Maybe cursing the ride home, but no one tried to run me over and no one swore at me and the bike was great!

So what about yours? positive stories only.... ;):biggrin::biggrin:

blooming lazy student!

my commute into uni the other day was nice and fun in an enjoyable kind of way, commented to millie last night that i've not had any incidents in over a week
should i risk getting on the bike again ??

Great idea for a thread. I didn't see much today .. the woods were nice, but there's not really much going on there at the moment.

I did see a lovely full moon on one side of the sky and Venus shining brightly on the other side on the way home last night.

Hi, new to this forum. I saw the low fog hanging across the fields and could hear the water running in a full stream as it passed under the road. Much better than last week when a ginger chav threw a can of coke at me from his car, he was lucky the lights were on green up ahead !

A cute little rabbit.

29.5 mph in the Bedmond road sprint (a regular test on the commute, this was the first attempt this year)

Stepped out to the road on the Shore in Leith this morning, and a terrified fox skidded to a halt alongside me before running around for a bit trying to figure out the best way to get away from the humans and cars. It took off in the direction I was heading in and then shot off up a side-street and through a vennel.

I was used to seeing them on the old railway cyclepath when I used to use it, but haven't seen one down my way for a good three years.
