What do I need to mount a bag on a Brompton - really confused

I have a Brompton with a front luggage block fitted.
I think I want to buy a Brompton "T Bag".
Do I need to buy the luggage rack too?

Brompton bags have the frame built in, and just connect to the front luggage block. If by luggage rack, you mean the rear rack, then this is not required for the T-bag.

@MossCommuter if you are buying the bag new then the frame you link to is part of the sold package.

Have a drag through the threads on this section, there is one that @Fab Foodie IIRC started with discussion from people who have built their own bags onto such a frame.

It can work out a heck of a lot cheaper just to buy the frame as linked and build onto it if you already have a bag you like.

You can buy the Brompton bags with and without the internal frame, obviously in this case you want the bag with the internal frame.
