Here for rides.
I ride bicycles a lot, and own several, but I'm not a cyclist; I'm just a bike rider.
I play bass a fair bit, and own several, but I'm not a musician; I'm just a bass player.
I drive a car, and, I guess, part own one, but I'm not a motorist, I'm just a driver.
I'm a member of a running club, and jog a couple of times a week, but I'm not a runner.
I walk about in the countryside, but I'm not a walker.
What activities do you undertake regularly where you don't identify with the stereotype of the -ist, -ism or -ian that goes with the role and refuse to be identified with it?
or is it just me?
