Ha, there are seven of us in the band, and when jobs for new songs are being handed out each player gets notice of key, time signature, nuance etc, and then it comes to me I get the instruction 'play bass'. Always the same!

My bandmates have individually been professional musicians for verifying lengths of time in their lives. As for me, well, I play bass.

Whatever activity i partake in, i'm generally worried of appearing to be a bore on the topic.

Golf bore
Car bore
Climbing bore
Karate bore

You get the picture.

As a result i generally don't like to advertise my interests too much. I'm not one to have a samurai sword on my mantle piece and such like.

But i've pretty much given in to cycling, for years i suppressed it refusing to ride at weekends and to "comit" to it all.

I have now accepted that i am a cycle bore and feel all the better for it.
