A warning there are no wear lines - only a thin coating of aluminium before you get through to the carbon fibre? :biggrin: Only a guess.

I think it means that the black anodized part of the rim is not to be used as a brake surface.

Stoopid yes but you have to idiot proof stuff with vague disclaimers so you don't get sued.

Think it might be in the instruction manual.

Which a customer failed to read, so it would still not be the manufacturers fault.
