Strange behaviour- some folk seem to go out looking for a fight. Wonder what the cyclists problem was (apart a complete inability to read the road ahead).
And the moral of the thread is...
1 If you cycle like a dick, don't post the evidence on youtube.

2 there has been discussion of mini roundabout usage on a couple of recent threads

3 Don't assume that other road users can read your mind!

Am I missing something? Wasn't the car on the rab before the bike? Surely there was no traffic from the right for the car to give way to. Were they supposed to stop and give the rider and bike a lift home because it was raining and in not doing so caused offense... or summat?

The cyclist was in the wrong there (and I know that it rich coming from me). He shouldnt have cut the roundabout. If he had slowed down and gone around correctly, the white car would have never come in conflict.
I bet the white car (seeing as he reached the roundabout first) thought that the cyclist would go the correct was and judged the situation well. What he didnt judge though, was the cyclist being an impatient sausage and thinking he owns the road.

Even by my standards, it was the cyclists fault.

That mini roundabout has non-standard markings in that from the cyclist's direction there are both give way lines and a give way triangle, wheras the other arms of the roundabout appear to have the standard single dashed line. I would interpret that as meaning traffic from the cyclist's direction always has to give way to all other traffic, not just that approaching from the right. Even if the roundabout had the conventional markings he was still wrong, if he negotiated the roundabout correctly the white car would already have been past him.

I got told off for doing something like this at Stratford. As part of my commute it showed me cutting the wrong way around the mini-roundabout but I wasn't giving a motorist the finger at the time,so I generally try and be whiter than white now although I did one year come off at that mini roundabout due to some oil.I'm much more careful how I tackle mini-roundabouts now..

Without wanting to generalise but he is in the rougher part of Southampton, probably should give him credit for being able to stand up let alone expect him to have a semblance of manners.
