(Apologies if there was an announcement - I looked and couldn't find one.)

I couldn't get onto CC from early evening onwards yesterday. My browser just sat there for ages doing nothing. Other sites loaded normally so my connection was okay.

I'm surprised that nobody is talking about it so I'm wondering if it was some weird problem with my system or ISP.

Thanks - I didn't spot that.

I'm having various technical problems today with things I'm working on. The funny thing about technology is that it just works most of the time, but every now and then when it plays up you can be left feeling totally stuck!

I ended up posting on YACF.

I post there once a year.

And last night was it.

That so sounds like there should be a dance to go with it...

I think I read your post on YACF - I was trying to find a reason for CC's demise - and there was nothing on Bikeradar, but your post on YACF which put my mind at rest that it wasn't just me.

Hmm - my internet connection is playing up again! CC is intermittent for me today  (sometimes as fast as usual, sometimes lonnnnnnnnng delays), British Gas - slowwwwwwwwww, but Google, YouTube and the BBC are running at full speed. I'm confused!

Can one (or more) of you network experts out there explain what causes this kind of thing and suggest how to work round it because it is starting to bug me. It's like being back on a crappy dial-up connection again - aaaaaaaargh!
