Ah, c'mon, share and share alike, eh. A simple "s'cuse me, please" is all it takes.

Nope, I'm with yer man on this one. I ride a part of my daily commute on a really similar bike path from Carrickfergus to Belfast and it's absolutely mental when the sun is out. I always do say excuse me and most people are really grand about it and to be honest it's really quite nice to slow down and share the path, but...... It's the dogs and the parents who can't be bothered to control their little charges that wind me up! Oh well, this is Ireland, it doesn't last very long - the sun isn't exactly a frequent visitor to these parts.

Only a joke

I did not realise it's your blog , I take it it's your blog then ?

I just think the blog hits the wrong spot. My reason being it's a part shared path where you get young children / families / animals that are vulnerable to cyclist.

Adults can be stupid and there children even more so, then you have there stupid dogs to contend with.

It's not like , road / path where the space is clearly separated for traffic pedestrians. Its more a shared space where we have to look out for each other. Not 'A get out of my way, I'm on a bike, what the f#84 are you doing on the cycle path you moron' attitude.
