I keep seeing the kids in my local area riding these very small bikes, they are smaller than BMX bikes, they have chunky tyres, ape hanger bars and steel frames, they weigh a ton, they come standard without any brakes and the tyres take something like 60psi, the wheels look like they are off a mini moto, is this a new craze or have they been around for a while, what are they called? My friend just bought one for his son, second hand and it cost him £300, that seems a bit pricey for something so small.

It does seem a bit mental, I have just found out that Halfords are selling them for about £150, still seem a bit steep, I don't think my kids will be getting one.

But its got no brakes, no brakes I tell ya.

I've ridden my motorcycle at 170mph on a track day and its got disc brakes, nothing would get me on a bike with zero brakes, nothing.
