And somebody on here was telling me hydraulic discs were the most wonderful trouble free things and so much better than the dreadful cable operated option. Glad you sorted it. Braking will be a bit soft at first but will improve as the pads bed in.

Yeah, over an inch of spacers, and I need to raise seat a bit more. It's classed as a hybrid and designed for a more upright riding position, fits well.
