a doughnut does not have a hole, a doughring does.
Isn't that a bit like saying that a txi is really a hackney carriage? Especially if it's full of jam. I'm confused. I need a doughnut.

Always go for the jam doughnut. No hole/rings/orrifices. Be careful incase the jam squirts out and goes down your shirt.

...in donuts?

I mean why is the whole not there and why is it replaced by a hole?

This important stuff and I won't be able to sleep until I find out why.

Is it so you can fit them on your hander bars and have a nibble are you cycle along

how does the jam escape other than through a hole? iirc jam dougnuts always have a little hole in where the jam goes in.</pedant>
<pedant>Actually that's not a hole, it's just a deformation in the sphere</pedant>
