I was given a house full of books by a gardening customer [ her late aunts collection ] .. I wouldn't like to say exactly how much I have made but 3 went for £250 each.... they were all destined for the skip...
I still have a hundred or so but most are 2 quiders but that is a lot of dosh to make when there is no outside work over the winter, thank you little old lady and the books have gone to good homes.
I gave away probably the best part of £2000's worth to one of my local charity shops that specialise in books.
Lots of my vinyl collection has gone for good money, ropey Nick Drake 100 quid, 1st press Dark Side of the Moon in slightly noisy condition £120
Just sold an old 3 speed to a Hong Kong bidder.... £26, postage
I dare not even guess at the moment, got to be £150 at least...
