My first suggestion was that Taurus would classically be a bull.

That then led me to thinking about the Harpies above and wings in mythology.

Then I wondered about Icarus and Daedalus. They escaped from the part bull Minatour.


Could this be father or son?

He's one of the four Anemoi (Venti in Latin), winged wind gods from Greek mythology - each ascribed a cardinal point of the compass. Taurus is a northern constellation, so our winged friend may be Boreas, the nothern wind.
