Cheese on toast done properly!
Ingredients
  • Thin sliced bread
  • Mature cheddar
  • Wooster sause
Cooking:
  • toast the bread on both sides
  • cover one side of the toast with mature cheddar
  • toast until you can see small holes in the cheese
  • sprinkle with Wooster sauce to taste
  • continue to grill until the cheese has become crispy

For the deluxe version (which has more than 3 ingredients so doesn't count) butter the toast with real butter before covering with cheese & when sprinkling with Wooster sauce also cover double gloucester crumbs. For perfection have with home made tomato soup or parsnip soup.

Tin of minced beef and onion, pasta, sweet and sour sauce.

Strictly 4 ingredients but the minced beef and onion come in 1 tin. Only one pan to wash up.

Asda do packs of dried ravioli in various flavours that you cook by boiling in water for just a couple of mins and serve with your sauce of choice. Only £1 per pack. Very quick and very tasty.

Strawberries.

A simple recipe.

Take 1/2 lb of English Strawberries, wash and top, put in bowl. Add another 1/2 lb of washed and topped English Strawberries to taste and eat. Repeat until replete.

Some silly fools add sugar, cream or ice cream but for me a Strawberry merely needs another Strawberry to be prefect food.
