It used to be Paul but I got sworded by the Queen so it is now 'Sir'. But you can all call me 'Sir'. Until you doff your caps to such a satisfactory length of time that I deign for you to call me Paul.

I have to say, Sir Paul, your grammar's not up to the mark for a Knight of the Realm. Maybe the standards amongst our gentry are slipping. I just thought you'd like to know that.

There are probably plenty of Peters around here, but not so bad as on the Astronomy forums. I never managed to figure out why, but it seems that half of the nation's amateur astronomers are called Pete or Peter. Most disconcerting!

I still look a bit like me (as in the avatar) but that was taken 4 years ago when I was fit. I've put on about 35 pounds since then so I've lost that lean cyclist look. I've also lost great chunks of hair and what is left is rapidly going grey!

So did the Gordon in our factory. Every time the song came on the radio we'd all sing a chorus of "Gordon is a moron". He'd always throw a major tantrum and go outside for a smoke until he'd calmed down!

Properly, Susannah, but since no one in the world, except my Mum and sister, is capable of spelling it, and everyone seems to want to shorten it to Suzanne or Susan, which I especially dislike, I pre-empt, and introduce myself as Sue, on the basis that few people will lengthen that. People have called me Susie, but not more than once...
