I have been riding my Sirrus elite since I bought it last April, and it is excellent. Most comfortable bike I have ever owned.

only 1 single speeder I notice. On my commute I see a few of these so would have thought there would have been more on here.

Aaah that was me, on my own for a bit, but I've a couple of cohorts now.
Mine's an old 90s Cannondale racer I converted to a singlespeed flat bar.

It's a bit more complicated than that...
You don't have a category for "folder". Your London London outskirts location makes that surprising - folders are very popular in the capital.

my main bike is a fixed gear road bike, with profile bars, mudguards and soon to have panniers (if santa is nice).
it's a total mis-matched affair but is set up just how i like it and works perfectly well for me. although i do get some strange looks from other cyclists who wonder why i've got profile bars...

I'm just about to start building my new bike - which I intend to use on club runs (once i've joined) and weekend jaunts only. hopefully it'll stay nice!

My only bike is a Dawes Galaxy which I use for a 24 mile round trip commute, the load carrying is brilliant, but I haven't got anything to compare it to, so I take it for granted! I'd like a natty road bike, but my delicate sensibilites would be rather offended by not having mudguards and not being able to pick up gallons of milk on the way home!

I bought my galaxy cheap and second hand so as not to worry about it, but then got carried away and spent too much on building it up, so I'm scared to leave it anywhere! So I'm putting together an old 531 steel hack bike now, which I want to keep simple like an old racer and use for commuting to gigs and museums, I think the tourer/road bike combination will work really well...
