Headgardener - When I was looking at houses in this area, I looked at one in Bewdley. The garden backed onto the Severn Valley Railway, a short distance, perhaps a quarter of a mile from Bewdley Station, just by a set of signals.

Lovely location. But unfortunately the owners of the house had chosen to paint it bright pink, put tarmac over the front garden, and build some really ugly cupboards in every room.

Forunately things that could probably be remadied remadid fixed if you had enough money. Location sounds wonderful shame about the paint job, garden and cupboards .

The back garden was small, as there is a very steep bank up to the railway line. With all the cupboards it was too difficult to see whether the house just looked small or it really was small, even if you took out all the cupboards. Altogether the house needed too much work, and the wonderful location did not compensate for that.
