Im having real trouble trying to keep my feet warm, this is what i have.

And today i even used gaffer tape to cover the front vents on the shoes but nope didnt work, im in need of some help into what i can try next or buy.

I use THESE boots when it's cold.

They're Gore-Tex too which obviously helps when it's wet.

They've been great for me

Winter boots. Nothing else comes near. I bought a pair of Northwave Goretex boots and my feet are toasty warm for hours. Also in the Wiggle sale at the moment at a bargain price.

Jesus christ, now i need to decide which kidney to sell.

Specialized Defroster boots for me.
Have worn for commutes at minus 8 degs with only a normal pair of socks and they have kept my toes toasty warm.

At least you could still ride almost straight away with one kidney, whereas it would need much more adjustment time if your feet fell off

All are great ideas lol, but anything that i can buy that doesnt invole the wife realising lol.

Do you warmup before you go out?
Can you wiggle your toes with the shoes on?
Try leaving your socks on the radiator and putting them on at the very last minute to gain maximum benefit.

I try a wiggle my toes as much as i can with 2 pairs on and vents tapped up, ive tried the "socks on the rad" before but it lasted until i got to the end of my close.

Wear thinner socks so that there's a layer of air trapped between the sock and the shoe?
