So many great tracks on that album, Tumbling Dice and Sweet Virginia as already mentioned, Shine a Light, All Down The Line etc.

The Stones finest work, their Sgt Pepper and probably the last album from their best years.

Don't forget It's Only Rock And Roll. I've always thought that Dance Little Sister defines what the Stones are about and Time Waits For No Man is taken by Mick Taylor to levels of the absolute sublime. In fact I suspect it is one of those tracks which has universal appeal even to people who would never go near the Stones, well it would be if it ever got air play.

Incidentally, am I still the only one on here to have read Keith's autobiog which I'm more than ever convinced is going to be regarded as the defining work of literature of this century?

you're lucky. the lp had a better mix of p machinery than the cd i have, and also is missing the frozen faces track which breaks up the album as a whole.

Blondie Parallel Lines bought it on Vinyl back in the 70s wore that out ----replaced it with the CD .
Now got it on my Ipod
