Actually something I would like to see is dynamo hubs with easily serviceable bearings by the user. The bearing on my SP dynamo are going and I’m going to have to strip the wheel down and send off to get it serviced / replaced. Where as a normal hub you can do it yourself with fresh bearings, some grease and not much time.

An efficient regenerative power system to provide power to batteries, or whatever else I may need it for.

Nah, bikes are the most efficient machine ever invented. It does not need the concept fouling with dirty batteries.
