I just finished this one: Believe in Magic

There were newspaper stories I saw at the weekend about a girl, sadly deceased, who had 'conned' thousands of pounds from people to fund trips to disneyland supposedly as she had a brain tumour, she also ran a charity called "Believe in Magic". However some of the articles went into more detail about how suspicions of Munchausen syndrome (and by Proxy) were suspected, basically it sounded interesting and I saw the link to the podcast.

The podcast goes into a lot of detail, it's very well done and yes the case isn't as clearcut as you might think. Well worth a listen especially if you know of or have been involved in charity for people with terminal illness.

Just started this today. Mortem is another worthy listen from BBC sounds.

It was very good, I won't spoil it but there is lot to the story and it's actually frightening how much they uncover.

Mortem Added it to my playlist thanks.

I’ve been really enjoying the Journey Through Time series by David Olusoga and Sarah Churchwell, it’s been absolutely fascinating, has covered loads of particularly American stuff that I knew nothing about. The episodes about the Salem Witch Trials and the Black GI’s in Britain I found particularly eye opening.

I have a fairly long list of podcasts I subscribe to (through an app and accumulated quite a backlog of episodes. Many are of specialist nature but most relevant here is The Cycling Europe Podcast https://cyclingeurope.org - mainly focusing of cycle touring.

Others I listen to include Empire (from Goldhanger Anita Anand and William Dalrymple) maybe as a fair focus on India and presents historical discussions of many of the places I visited.

Also Geology Bites (fairly technical geology podcast https://www.geologybites.com). Several obvious science, wildlife and environmental podcasts.
