(Obviously only applicable to those who drive!).

I had it yesterday with one numpty who committed a cardinal sin:

I was behind him as he joined the sliproad to get onto the motorway ... and he proceeded to sit in the outside lane (with an empty inside lane), chugging down the sliproad onto a very busy and fast-moving motorway at all of 35mph!

Normally I don't undertake, but in this instance I decided it would be less dangerous to undertake than to try to join a very full motorway at half the speed of the traffic on the motorway ... so I floored it up the inside of him, praying he didn't drift left without looking! (he seemed like one of those drivers who is capable of doing anything without looking ...).

What is it that really gets your goat when you're driving? And don't say "people who undertake me when I'm joining a motorway at a dangerously slow pace" ... because I don't care!

I just would never let my goat drive. Boring but safe.

Number one annoyance on the road when driving:
Going along a main road in a fairly long stream of traffic but with not much coming the other way. Someone is signalling right, waiting to turn into a side road, and has to turn across the stream of traffic I'm in so has to wait for a gap in the stream of traffic, so being a nice chap I slow down a bit and flash them in. They don't go. Flash again. Couple of flashes. Still don't go. So I assume they're not going to go, and carry on. THEN they decide to go, cue me having to slam my brakes on. WHAT DO YOU WANT, A F*&^NG WRITTEN INVITATION SIGNED IN BLOOD??!!:smile:!:angry:

there seems to be a lot of cars around with malfunctioning indicators for some reason

Very, very few people seem to indicate at all these days, and of those that do a large percentage are giving an incorrect signal.....signalling left and turning right for example.

Don't know why I'm complaining really as I never trust another driver's signals anyway !

Nowt. It's very, very rare I do more than shake my head when driving or ask out loud what the blody h3ll this muppet is up to, especially these days, I'm very chilled in a car. Funnilly enough, I'm not so chilled on a bike.

What got my goat most recently was, the blue Corsa that came hurtling round a blind bend in the middle of the road on a country lane which caused me to have to steer off the road hit a rock and blow out my LHS front tyre, on Tuesday.

Needless to say they didn't stop and I had to change the wheel in the rain, joy. The only saving grace is that the tyre was due for changing as were 2 others so they've been done as well now.

What car do you drive?

I drive a Mondeo Mk V - not the fanciest car in the world, but it is big and heavy and when faced with chav twats in a little corsa I would not deviate - their car would definitely come off worst if it collided with mine!

Muppets who block the overtaking lane on a dual carriageway.
Muppets who change lane and 'push in' queues of traffic.
Muppets who drive up your arse on motorways.
Muppets who sit in the middle lane on motorways.
Muppets who ignore 'keep clear' signs.

Is it obvious I hate driving

My car.

It's now starting blowing the temperature sensors that tell it when to apply the choke, so on start-up, no choke. Took it to my very nice local garage who replaced the sensor and it was ok for about 3 days. Then it blew the sensor again. Took it back to said garage who replaced it FOC.

Yesterday the new sensor packed it in when I tried to restart the car 5 miles from home. What's more I was en route to look at replacement cars and wanted to know the p/ex value of mine!

Anyway, have found a possible replacement and will get rid of offending motor come hell or high water.
