What size Triban 3?

51cm I would think? Although they seem to come up small, they are a gents frame. I am 5'9 and typically ride a 54.cm road bike, so I'd probably need the 57cm, thus the 51cm sounds right for someone half a foot shorter (I also have quite long arms and legs). You may need to add narrower bars, a shorter stem and of course a women's saddle

Best is to go sit on one and ride around the store if you can

However, according to the website, Birmingham has none in the store and only a few sizes for home delivery - they have been selling like hotcakes

B'twin bike sizing is odd. I think they quote the top tube length instead of the (usual) seat tube length. You have to try one to be sure. My teenage son is 5' 1" and the size 54 B'twin Forme (flat bar road bike) is the right frame size for him, so you should try the 51 and 54.

Thanks for your answers. She's now also looking at a Giant Avail (a better idea I think). You've got one of those haven'y you Vickster? What frame size again for 5ft 4in do you think?

I am 5'10 (less a little bit) and ride a M, the biggest Avail. jefmcg I believe is 5'6 and rides a S, I would think thus an XS or maybe an S (depending on dimensions) if 5'4. The US Giant site has geometries, the UK site is less good
