I can only take it in short bursts too but I thought he was the nearest modern equivalent to the question posed by the OP!
Has for the OP's idea that Mozart would have been into Kashmir by Led Zepplin, I think anything by Zepplin or Metallica would have been more a Beethoven groove. That's what sent him deaf I bet.
Mozart strikes me as more of a Barclay James Harvest or Camel listener. Yawn!

Nyman did the soundtracks for all the Peter Greenaway films and like the films they are all pretty much the same style.
I think he'd have taken the Mark E Smith route - he'd have agreed to appear on Holland's show, but had it written into his contract that Holland wouldn't be allowed anywhere near him.
I knew I'd seen this somewhere and it was only watching Howard Goodall tonight I remembered where. For anyone foolish enough to doubt Wonder's genius or has disparaged him, watch this and tell us you feel the same.
