A friend of mine was disturbed by the sound of someone trying to steal his car. He shouted out of the window then then ran out of the house.
The potential thief was part way down the road and just stood staring at him.
My friend shouted........"why don't you get a job"
The thief shouted back......"this IS my job". Sadly he was serious.

There was a program on TV about ten years ago when car theft was at a high, mainly through yobs taking them back to their estates and putting on "Displays" of doughnuts and burnouts etc before breaking them for spares. One of the watching crowd (A middle aged guy) excused their antics by saying just that, "It's their job".

I've just been on the Thread Tools tab at the top of the page.

I found 'Ignore' ok, but can't seem to find the 'Stick nose in and create a political discussion and wilfully disrupt thread' option.

Good idea. On those rare occasions that a victim gets hold of Johnny Scumbag and beats him to a pulp they can claim it's their job.

Please explain how the urge to thump a criminal who's offended against you is a political issue. Don't do it here, go across to the politics forum and do it there and i'll see you there.
