The Magical Mystery Tour and the Beatles museum.

Otterspool Prom and the old garden festival site now re-opened, Speke Hall bit of a trip out from the centre that one, arrange a tour of the Radio City tower for great view over the city, Sefton beach for the Antony Gormley statues, go and stand under the statue at what used to be Lewis's, so you can be said to have been standing there like one of Lewis's (meet under a statue exceedingly bare), etc... I did say etc the first time.

.....And only a few stereotypical jokes on a thread about Liverpool. Considering there's so many numpties on the forum, I expected more.

It's maybe because people have to make an effort to get to Liverpool- it's at the end of the line, not like York or even, cough, Manchester [sorry].

As mentioned the Albert Dock, Pier Head and 3 Graces (will be done as part of getting to the ferry). Otterspool Prom used to be good 20 odd years ago, don't know what it's like now. The Walker is worth a visit as is Liverpool One, lunch at Thomas Rigby's on Dale Street and don't forget a visit to the Philarmonic Bar.

Errrm, Manchester is the end of the line if you live in London. Heaven's if that's the criteria you use, you'll be recommending Preston as a place to visit!!

And the Phil's gentleman's urinals. It's not an unusual sight to see women being ushered in to have a look. No one bats an eye at it.

London is the ultimate dead-end.... unless you're trying to get to Gatwick.

Sorry TVC, got distracted... so you could go to the beach for the day.

"Opened in 2002 the Williamson Tunnels Heritage Centre has welcomed over 100,000 visitors into the fascinating underground world created beneath the streets of the Edge Hill district of Liverpool by Joseph Williamson, a wealthy tobacco merchant who employed many hundreds of men in the construction of a huge and elaborate underground labyrinth of tunnels, chambers and passageways.
Visitors to the Williamson Tunnels Heritage Centre can take a guided tour through a section of the network of tunnels and view exhibits and displays which depict the life and times of one of Liverpool's most eccentric characters."
