What to do while waiting....

So I'm waiting for the paperwork to be sorted before I can get the Cannondale Synapse I've just agreed to buy through works scheme, and now I'm itching to get my hands on my new toy.

What do you do while waiting? I keep looking at other things to buy, which isn't really helping....
Riding my current hybrid just isn't quite the same when I know there's a better, newer bike coming soon™

This is an n+1 bike and I'm already looking at ideas for the next!

Buy some bar tape and brake blocks, perhaps a saddle ?

Heh, well exactly, I haven't even got it and I'm looking at new stuff either for it, or the next bike :P Started adding things to a Wiggle wishlist, currently has 2 sets of wheels and some pedals, I'll wait and see what the saddle does to my arse before thinking about that too....
Could do with a distraction that doesn't involve my wallet, there's only so many times I can click 'new posts' here

Hah, while I was researching what bike to get I saw several of your posts about anything but black, vickster. I'm sure you'll be pleased to know that I've been riding a black specialized for the last few years

I was actually trying to agree with you and get a non-specialized, non-black bike, but for the sort of thing I was looking at and purchasing options, it was a bit difficult. Unfortunately the Synapse 105 (alloy) is mostly black :P I was seriously close to either downgrading to the tiagra version or plonking down some extra cash for the ultegra as they both had a bit more colour to them.....

Swimming is a good idea though! Moved recently and been meaning to check out the localish pool.
