I can't stand the word 'hubby' if that adds anything to this thread.

In answer to the OP's question. Do not buy her anything in the line of kitchen gadgets. They always seem like a good idea at the time but are rarely appreciated/used.

I bought my partner a wooden bath buddy last year, so she can drink wine and look at her iPad in the bath. Which she does most nights to be fair, so it gets plenty of use.
 
cycling.....how about a track taster session, if she hasn't already tried it

You can never go wrong with a thin black merino polo-neck sweater for £29.50 at M&S or in dark blue merino at M&S Autograph for £49 or GAP for £45.
