We've been watching I, Jack Wright on BBC / Iplayer. It was quite intriguing as you're left at times with no flipping idea what has gone on, with plenty of lot twists. We got to the last episode wondering how they were going to end it,

but they didn't really, just set it up for another series.

True Detective, season 1. A superior piece of television. Mesmerising performance from McConaughey.

Don't bother with the rest. Vince Vaughn is shockingly bad in the second series and it just gets worse from there. Colin Farrell just about saves it, but that's because he's actually a great actor.

I'm a big fan of McConaughey, mostly because it's like he woke up one day and thought

"You know what? I'm gonna be a serious actor now."

oh yes. I don't think I've ever finished one of his "leaning" films. The (more) recent stuff I've seen, he is ALWAYS excellent. (even in [the IMO hugely overrated] Wolf of Wall Street - is he just in one scene?!?)

We have watched the first 2 episodes and enjoyed it but still got the rest to watch.

Anyone else watching Rapture ?

I love the origin story surrounding it too. He made up the word himself and told a reporter that a separate reporter had made it up.
