Whilst is have no issue with the overall winner for being best over the whole series. The best pot was actually made by someone else in the final.

Joan passable enough as TV with decent performances. Plot and scripting a bit wobbly imho but, I dunno, left me feeling decidedly uneasy with perhaps a too sympathetic portrayal of a criminal life style choice.

We're watching North Sea Connection on BBC. It started a bit slow but is actually very good. It's Irish, which is often refreshing because the dialogue is more to the point IMO. It's certainly one of our "continue watching when nothing else is on" type of things but it's getting good 5 episodes in.

Also on iPlayer is The One That Got Away having been on BBC4 and BBC Wales. English language version of the S4C Cleddau crime drama which has a few twists along the way along with some obviously predictable bits.

The Bay season five. I only watch it because it's filmed locally and spent most of my time yelling That's not Lancaster! For a crime drama it's got a very low IQ and it's only good for location spotting. 3/10

Part 3 was simply stunning TV. The performances are superb.
