BBC drama series covering 1066 and all that
First episode was kind of OK, as it had to introduce the cast and set the scene, and second was watchable at least, but I was happy to see how it turned out (OK we know how it turns out, but anyway). Kept watching and it gets better and better. Episode 5 was superbly written and acted, particularly the women, with the rival queens cleverly portrayed as a kind of diplomatic backchannel trying to get a deal to avoid war.

Solid recommendation and worth persevering through the first 2 to or 3 merely OK episodes.

I'm wondering when the Meddling Monk shows up trying to tip the scales in favour of Harold

We have finally got round to watching the BBC show ' Disappearing cyclist ' that was shown a while ago.

Found it very good but boy what a horrible experience for the family to live through

I’ve never watched it, but someone told me about this series of Big Brother, & that there was a girl from Wakefield in it
Then she told me the name

I know Caroline, not seen her for a few years, but we had a lot of mutual friends in the late 80s/early 90s
I knew a couple of her boyfriends from that era too
Back then, she had a (collar length) black ‘Cleopatra’ hairdo

On a whim I am finally getting round to watching Young Sheldon on Netflix. Finished the first series.
Far, far superior to Big Bang Theory in my opinion.

Recently went through Boots on Netflix. Quite enjoyed it and the bootcamp scenes from a different perspective.
