Anybody watched the new Grand Tour? I found it a bit tedious, I felt it was missing something, apart from the obvious

I liked it. Felt a bit like they were finding their way which is to be expected and I'm glad they managed to work in trains for Francis.

Haave you watched “No Activity”, also an Australian programme with the same people? It’s different, but equally good in my opinion. If you appreciate “Colin” you’ll like it.

I hope they do more of the Angola race and Albon's helmet challenge style stuff, those were the highlights for me.

Not yet, but dreading watching the Train spotter nerd - can't stand him.

Binged The Gentlemen S2 on NF.

Not bad. Not as good as S1 plus 2 (out of 8) episodes were pointless as they added nothing to the overall plot.

7/10.

I'd suggest giving it a pass then. I'd never heard of him, but his laugh does get a bit irritating. He knows his stuff though, and the lad knows how to drive.

Eagerly awaiting next week’s final of the Great British Sewing Bee. This year has been one of the best yet, the contestants have been a great bunch, Patrick and Esme have been on top form and I’ve warmed to the new presenter. I hope this gem of a programme survives all the BBC cuts.

My wife met a few of the contestants last week in Glasgow. Nothing was said about the winner !
