With a world advancing very quickly in technology I wanted to know what people in the community were. A thread Sparked on my the Minecraft thread. From PC, consoles to tablets and phones.
Myself I am PC, Xbox, PS3, Wii and IPhone

What is Cyclechats preferred gaming unit?

It has to be ps3 no doubt about it. Nothing else is a good. Games like drakes fortune, lara croft etc are the best.

I tried my elder son's PS3 GT5 game and had to have one. I then bought a DFGT wheel and have spent many a happy hour screaming around race tracks.

I was a slot car racer in the 1960,s competing up to national level on a few occasions and GT5 is my boyhood dreams come true. I've already pre-ordered GT6!

An almost endless possibility of options such as the ability to modify the majority of games (whether with or without the developers permission) and of course the graphical advantages.

(BF3 in 3D is amazing, I wonder what BF4 will do for it?)

Used to do play a bit on PC, but have never used a console of any type.

Nowadays, I just see playing a computer game as a waste of my time..

One thing I like, is watching people who have never played a console try to play games which use both toggles. You only realise then how bad your hand eye coordination and multitasking really is. It takes a while to learn the ability to use both at the same time

Stereoscopic 3D or whatever you call it. The graphics card processes the image and sticks an overlay over it, so to the naked eye it has that red and blue tint but with some cheap 3D glasses (with the coloured filters, no the electronic ones) it looks 3D.

Despite it being the cheapest form of 3D you can get, it works surprisingly well!

Sorry can't tick a box, still on PS2 (with PS One in the loft..). Not really used a lot until I got laid up through Summer, then got taken with the Crash Bandicoot games, and Need For Speed. GT4 is taking up some of my time, tried GTA San Andrea's but really struggled to see why these are popular?

PC all the way, mouse and keyboard are so much more accurate for fps.

I'm the type of gamer who still plays Worms Armageddon because I'm yet to find a better game. Still like a bit of Driver too... and Driver 2 too, both PS1 games played on a PS2. I also like a bit of a run about in San Andreas from time to time.

I've never bothered with PC gaming as that would mean spending money on my PC... which is fine so long as i don't try to play games on it.

I did consider buying a PS3 for Skyrim and GTA-V... maybe i will when the PS4 comes out and the PS3 games and consoles are cheap as chips.

I had Race & Chase too and I was probably about 8 yo. It was my favourite toy too but I didn't progress to racing games (other than Mario Kart). FPS for me.

In order of preference, PS3, 3DS then iPad.
I prefer platform/racing games - my all time favourites are the Lego series...Lego Marvel Heroes on on 15th of this month
