I can do wicked arm farts, and impressions of Shaggy out of Scooby Doo.
Fnaar my proper farts would provide enough gas to keep our house warm all through the winter

One thing I'm really not good at is leading a tribe.

My brother used to describe me as Scotty to his Captain Kirk. I like sitting quietly in the back ground making things happen while someone else does all the pontificating.

Well, as long as you can fettle the dilithium crystals, we're fine...

I just saw some basket making on Wartime Farm, and reckon I could turn my hand to it, although I've never actually done it.

I think half the battle is being open to working out how something is done. I think a lot of people would assume "I can't do that", without trying. Also, seeing a way to use the materials that come to hand.

I've also remembered I can spin wool, in a very basic way, and of course I can knit the yarn thus produced, and do basic weaving, and know how a basic loom would be constructed. (oh, and now on telly, they are processing flax! I'm taking note...)

I have never had to use a Sat Nav in my life (but that's only becuase I don't drive). It makes me wonder if we are creating a sub set of society who can't read maps properly, if at all!
I think that will happen in the same way that we now don't know how to identify safe plants to eat in the wild.

There are already many people who cannot cook a meal from raw, natural ingredients.
