Mine was a set of wheels and tyres - £200 - look great, go faster, and the Spesh Armadillos have so far proved impenetrable (sp?)

Wheels for my Inbred hardtail: Hope hubs, DT spokes, Mavic XM321 rims. I built them myself which seems like a good use of leisure time given the current weather!

  11. Vitt Open Corsa CX for the tri bike, to replace the horrible things I had on it before which had no grip in the wet.

And very handy they were too, because the first event was a tri which rained so hard I reckon I was wetter on the bike leg than in the swim leg...
