Got this lot for a quid each!

Already own the Christopher Brookmyre one and the others I'll probably never get round to reading but there was something very satisfting about buying that amount of books for a tenner

I went into Bristol branch on Sunday, got my hands on "The Climbs of the Tour de France", a big coffee table type book. I went to pay, and the bloke said they had a legal dispute with that publisher, and I couldn't have the book:angry:

You should have just nicked it then you could have replied yes to my shoplifting thread:laugh:

I'm not much of a book worm, but we got a few books for my kids - my 9 year old devours books....which is great....

Got some books for both, only 20% then some text books for 50%, which my 6 year old thinks are fun.........

No 'late bargains'.......my kids are really upset actually, as they love our Stockport store.......

So am I. There's nowhere to go when it starts pishing of rain in Glasgow anymore or to kill some time other than a pub when Mrs Greedo is faffing about in clothes shops.

I'd like the Jock Stein book.

Can't seem to read fiction anymore.

It's probably the only one I'll read to be honest. I'll send it to you when I'm finished if you want
