I wouldn't mind having a carbonated drink dispenser and a beer engine fitted to my handlebars.

a track pump concealed in the seat post.

quick release the seat post, seat pops up, attach hose to valve near bottom bracket and pump the spring-loaded seat post up and down until the desired pressure has been achieved.

The folding Dahon Espresso has this feature, although I haven't seen places where you can buy it separate from a bike

Edit: Finished reading through the thread and noticed 2 other users have pointed this out. You can just ignore me.

I've always thought that a 2WD MTB using hydraulics would be interesting for off-road.

Obviously hydraulic technology is not currently small enough or light enough, and is less efficient than a chain drive, but I still think it would be a pretty neat idea to test out.

Some kind of on-the-bike-not-going-to-stop-you-cycling sexual experience.
B-J saddle...the more you pedal, the more ... er...just off for a a cold shower.

Training all users to a higher standard....not the next big thing, butsomething which would be of more value than anything else.

Boris Johnson is promising that for Londoners:

It is why I am paying for free cycle training for any Londoner, adult or child, who wants it; it is why I have appointed a cycling commissioner, making cycling the only transport mode to have its own dedicated representative in my senior staff; and it is why I am recruiting almost 130 extra staff to Transport for London to help deliver my cycling programme.
